I had been experiencing pain for a few days and went to my gp, she referred me to surgical iau, i was seen quickly and full explainations of my treatment routes were given. I was promptly admitted to aru5 and the team were all lovely, couldnt have been more helpful. I was moved up to ward 9a where Gemma and Catherine were my nurses. They are both fab! A real credit to the ward, the team and the nhs as a whole. Even my wee blip of waiting a day for a theatre slot was fine cos everyone was so kind, helpful and understanding (the oramorph helped too!). the surgeon apologised too which i thought was really nice of him to take the time and come up personally. I know how busy they guys are!!! Im not moaning about waiting i totally understand emergencies come first. The cpod team were all great too and i cant thank them enough for removing my troublesome gallbladder. On the whole my care was fantastic and made a painful experience a really nice one!!! Just want to say it makes me so proud to work for the NHS knowing there are such lovely colleagues providing care to everyone in their time of need. Thank you all so much
