Our GP sent us to A&E on Tuesday afternoon as my daughter was complaining of chest pains. As we had recently been on a long hall flight she was concerned about blood clots.
We were admitted into the children's A&E ( she is 17) and seen within 5 minutes by a lovely nurse. She sent us to AEC to have further tests.
We waited for about 20 minutes and then my daughter was taken for blood tests and a ECG. She was then sent to X ray. All of this took about 60mins.
The waiting area was warm and clean with a decent tea/coffee machine -reasonably priced.
We were then seen by a junior Dr - who was lovely and asked my daughter lots of questions. He then asked the Consultant to see her - again lots of questions and listening to her chest. All was fine and my daughter felt reassured that there was nothing seriously wrong.
Excellent service from start to finish. All staff were kind, helpful and very professional.
Thank you Kingston Hospital you do an amazing job.
