A few days ago my friend was admitted for a hip replacement.
She arrived at 07:30 as told, she was put on the seal unit, they swapped the bed for a trolley gave her a wrist band and a gown, did more tests and paper work.
Only after 4hrs when her brother asked what happening, altogether after about 5hrs they then told her it was cancelled. She was also told she was 2nd on the list, she was so upset she started to cry, she had to make so many arrangements to go in the first place as she is a widow.
She does not know i am doing this and i am not going to give you her name just in case. She has been told to come back next week, i will be coming with her and if its cancelled again i will be ringing the media as well as a few other numbers. Thank you.
