I recently had to attend A&E (as directed by 111) on Friday 19th October
From the ladies at reception, triage, nurses (special mention to one member of staff, where nothing was too much trouble in looking after me for over 7hrs and he made me laugh!) the 2 doctors, radiology, the lady in ultrasound and even the 'housekeeper' who noticed I had been in all day and insisted I ate and had a warm drink...
their care was nothing short of outstanding!
The last time I had to attend hospital was when I had my son 18yrs ago...so I was nervous and a little unsure of what lay ahead....but everyone had a smile and treated me professionally, with sensitivity and care. I came out tired but impressed but mostly very grateful for our NHS and the hardworking and sometimes under valued staff.
Big thank you to everyone who looked after me...you are amazing!
