Hastily made appointment for my wife to coincide with my own appointment (of long standing) was dealt with courteously and obligingly by staff in different departments. Our whole experience was so different from previous involvement, we left feeling the NHS may have turned a corner?
On a separate basis, I had to wait 3 months for my consultation - - to the point of it being unnecessary in the end.
