Wow, what can I say! As a first time mum, I was nervous but I chose Walsall Manor from a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. I had the best midwife.
She was so supportive and encouraging and you can tell she genuinely cared. She took care of me, got me toast to eat, kept offering to get tea and coffee for me and my partner. She made me feel safe and cared for.
Afterwards, they let me stay in the delivery room until it was needed for someone else. And my parter got to stay with me, which was so lovely. And they cleaned up properly after i gave birth, made the room spotless. Took my things into the bathroom for me so I could take a shower, changed the baby for me too. All I had to do was feed him.
Overall, would recommend! These ladies really care and are passionate. There was only 1 lady I came across in triage who seemed to lack empathy, but overall, would highly recommend!
