"Exceptional care"

About: Solihull Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I attended Ward S14 to have an operation. The care I received I consider to be exceptional. I would like to say a big thank you to the nursing staff for their kind, considerate, caring attitude, they were so very pleasant and put me at ease from the moment I went onto the ward. Everything regarding the operation was fully explained to me & I was advised if there was anything that I was unsure of, not to be afraid to ask as that is what they are there for. T

he operating staff were also very helpful, friendly & attentive & again they explained just what was going to happen & the length of time I was likely to be before going back to the ward. Another plus is the cleanliness of the nursing staff. Before they do anything connected to your welfare, their hands are washed, they also use the anti bacterial gel all the time.

I would like to say an extra big thank you to Kirsty, Genevevie & the 2 Kate's who looked after me so well during my stay & also to Mr Farooq & his operating team. I was most impressed with the service & attention you all afforded me.
