"Uncomfortable procedure, but excellent care at New Victoria Hospital"

About: New Victoria Hospital (Glasgow)

(as the patient),

I had a trans rectal ultrasound scan with prostate biopsy. It was the most degrading, uncomfortable, and generally horrible experience, but the staff were really kind and considerate. The care was excellent, and I was looked after well before and after the procedure.

Very many thanks for your kind and thoughtful remarks about the service, I am sure that the staff involved will be thrilled to read these comments.

We appreciate that some procedures are uncomfortable, and at times unpleasant, for patients, but I am very glad that the staff who cared for you were there to help and assist you through this difficult time.

Paul
