What I liked
I give the Endoscopy team 100%! The nurse and the endoscopist individually asked me about my symptoms and explained the procedure. They gave me options and made sure I understood them and felt ok about my decision. The nurse then gave a synopsis to the endoscopist just before the procedure, to make sure they were in agreement.
During the procedure I was constantly reassured and told what to do to reduce discomfort by the nurse.
Afterwards I was immediately told the result by the endoscopist, and given advice for future treatment. Before I went home, I was given an advice sheet for reducing symptoms and managing my condition - and offered a hot drink.
Really nice people doing their jobs extremely well!
