"Excellent Service"

I started coming here in 2017 after being referred from an under 18's clinic which is also based in Leeds. At first I was told I would have to repeat the steps of what happened in my previous clinic. However, i understand this may be because of the amount of time passed after my previous appointment. Within two visits I was told I met the criteria for Gender Dysphoria, on my third visit I saw a psychologist who told me I could go ahead with Hormone Therapy. At this time I was told I would have to wait up to 9 months to see an endocrinologist but I found that after 5 months I had received my appointment! I went, was told about the precautions, the advantages and was given my prescription almost a month ago.

I understand many individuals experiences will not be the same, though I am extremely happy with my experience, they treated me kindly, made me feel welcome and never made me feel uncomfortable. I would recommend this service to anyone choosing which service to attend when it comes to gender change.
