many many hours waiting with my 89 year old mother for the second time in one week, all because antibiotics were only given for 3 days when they freely admit that it wont clear her UTI, left sitting with my mother who has severe UTI and needing toilet every 30 seconds, firstly in corridor then moved to waiting room, no obs done my mother is diabetic, no blood sugars done and when asked told we dont need to do them because she isnt in for anything to do with her diabetis, REALLY. if not checked as she hadnt eaten been given a drink. her sugars will drop and she will have hypo, secondly toilets well DISGUSTING, one toilet no light door broke so couldnt see to lift mom out of wheelchair, disabled toilet, dim light, urine all over floor, dirty gowns, no toilet paper, no paper towels to wash hands, door broke so struggled to open it ,even called housekeeping from number on wall, still nothing, waiting room packed with trolleys, and patients in wheelchairs, this is so unacceptable for an elderly vulnerable patient with dementia to be left for so long, one word for this SHOCKING
"disgusting AE"
