Food to this unit is supplied from Dr Grays Elgin in I understand in a flash frozen state, this has to be thawed / reheated, prior to delivery to dialysis patients and the results can leave a lot to be desired, in the main it is very unappetising, there is no fresh fruit offered and no sweets / deserts, it is quite a shock after the excellent food offered by a nearby hospital who have to cater for many more people. Salad is often the best option, though this can leave a lot to be desired,depending who has prepared the salad, at times it appears to have been thrown on the pate, when other times it would compete with the best of restraunts,
Often the best choice is a sandwich
Why not recommission the hospital kitchen and have the food prepared and cooked locally, in this day and age this cannot be to much to ask for
