"My operation was taken off the list and no one..."

About: King George Hospital / General surgery

I have been attending the hospital since August 2017 trying to get a lump removed from my neck . My notes have been mis-read on several occasions which resulted in my attending appointments that were not required and my operation being cancelled. Each time a new anethatist read my notes they decided i needed a new test . Having had months of pre op checks scans ECG blood tests heart checks sleep tests MRI everything went quiet from July 2018 so in September i phoned and was told everything was fine and I would hear soon . Today I was told i was taken off the surgeons list because the processed taken too long ......(in other words they were out of time on their target. ) I have been told i have to start the process all over again . NO ONE CONTACTED ME I HAD TO CALL TO FIND THIS OUT if I had not called i could still be waiting . Why do I have to suffer because staff could not read notes properly ?
