I was apprehensive at first and didn't know what to expect, but my fears were soon alleviated when I arrived. 

Everyone I've met here has been so kind - nurses, doctors, cleaners. Nothing is too much trouble. I've been so well cared for and have never been so spoiled in all my life! The respite care came when I needed it most and is helping me to recover from some radiotherapy treatment. My family have been relieved and amazed at how well I am being cared for here.

Thank you - a small word but means so much.

The staff have taken away lots of worries about what the future holds by asking me what my wishes are, telling me what the options are, helping me to choose what the best option is. They are working on a care plan for when I leave which makes me feel reassured that I will continue to be  looked after in the future. The food is brilliant too! I couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

We are pleased that your fears and apprehensions were alleviated once you arrived.

We strive to ensure that we work together with patients and those who are important to them to assist with planning and making choices.

Thank you also for mentioning all the staff involved in caring for you. I will pass on your thanks to all the staff.
