"The procedure was talked through every step of the way"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

I was totally unprepared for the procedure but was put at my ease immediately I arrived.

I was looked after by a nurse practitioner Wendy and Staff nurse Dawn.

In the operating theatre the procedure was talked through to me at every step of the way.

In recovery I was a little upset but was told it was normal.

The 2  nurses looked after me so well, never leaving my side,  and reassuring me all the time.

They were wonderful and had the time for me.

The sister on charge was a delight..Carol.I think and she was equally caring and considerate.

Even the volunteer Ruth, helped to make me feel secure.

Thank you all.

At the moment I am pain free. Long may it last!

Hi Sudbrooke

Thank you so much for your great feedback on a dreary damp Friday. I have already shared this with our teams and it will mean so much to them. They do pride themselves on getting it right for everyone of their patients.

Great to hear that it was a success and that you are now pain free:)

Regards

Brittany
