I recently attended the Leverhulme Day Surgery Unit for an out patient procedure. I was looked after by one particular staff member who is a credit to her profession.
Although she was looking after a number of patients on her own, she did a first class job.
Nothing was too much trouble for her, she kept everyone fully updated, often apologising for not being able to deal with her patients as quickly as she would have liked.
The only suggestion that I could make for an improved patient experience would be to provide nurses in her position with additional support.
