I went in presenting with bleeding from the tonsillectomy site. This was my second haemorrhage within 3 days. I arrived by ambulance. I was seen very promptly by two particular doctors from the ENT dept. They told me I’d need emergency operation to close the site. They were extremely caring and considerate of my position. I was in theatre within an hour and a half and they performed the cauterisation and also suturing of the site. They both were there when I woke up and also came to visit me in the morning. I am really satisfied with the care I received and I would like to recommend these two doctors. One doctor was particularly Meticulous in his approach and practice even removing further tonsil tissue that was missed during the original operation. (Not at this hospital).
The care I received from two particular nurses was extremely attentive for my stay in recovery from which I was discharged 20hrs after visiting.
I can’t thank all the doctors and nurses enough. You deserve a medal!
Thank you x
