Just wanted to thank the day case surgical unit at Stracathro. (had an operation with there with Mr Vijayasekar).
Despite being a 'health tourist' from NHS Grampian - from outpatient appointment right through to my surgery I was incredibly impressed with the whole set-up at Stracathro Hospital, & it is clearly one of the jewels in NHS Tayside's crown.
The ward staff were all very thorough, well-trained, informative & professional but also very friendly & made me feel less anxious & supported the whole time.
Nothing was too much trouble to them & I could see they were like this for all the patients that were on the ward with me (& not just me because I'm a doctor!) In addition, the ward was bright, clean & cheery.
Finally, thank you Mr Vijayasekar, for your most excellent surgical skills. Not one problem post-op.
