I just wanted to congratulate East Surrey Hospital on this service. This was my first mammogram as I reached age 50 earlier this year. My letter arrived a few weeks before my prearranged appointment. On the day there were 2 lovely young nurses running the clinic and they put me at ease instantly. The nurse who carried out the mammogram explained the process and was very good and the whole process was completed swiftly and professionally. Just over a week later I have received the results. Fabulous service! Thank you!

Dear Nifty50 thank you for your kind remarks about your recent visit to have a breast screening mammogram. I am pleased that you have had such a positive experience. I would like to take the credit for the mammography team at SASH for your wonderful service but unfortunately this service is provided by the National Breast Screening Service run by the Jarvis Centre in Guildford. However I would be very happy to pass on your complements to their Clinical Director who works as part of the Breast Symptomatic Radiology Service here at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust.
