Subject: A Word of Sincere Thanks

Dear Practice Mgr ,

I wanted to write to ask you to pass on my thanks to a member of staff in your Surgery Team .

My son had a worrying symptom , but wasn't registered with a GP for his temporary residence in Pudsey .I rang Pudsey HC on his behalf this morning ( he teaches, so can't call at 8.30am himself ) . Pudsey HC is closest to their temporary flat .I was pleased and grateful to be put through to this member of staff . I explained my sons sympton , how worried he was , and asked about him becoming a Temporary resident patient at your Surgery .

Very quickly and calmly , this member of staff arranged for him to attend Pudsey HC at 4.30pm today , complete your Registration form , and see one of your GP's at 4.50pm .

He did this , and now has some medication which hopefully will cure him . He feels relief , and really appreciated the efforts this member of staff went to , to help him , as do I. It was just really nice , caring , positive service , for which I thanked her. It'd be nice if you would also pass on my thanks to her .

I'm sure he’ll contact the Surgery in a few days to ask if he could permanently register .
