My Husband rang up one morning to book a appointment with a doctor, he waited 15 minutes to get threw to then be told that a doctor would ring him between the time he rang and a hour an half later, which did happen, He was told to visit the doctors surgery that day at lunchtime, the doctor that he see did not listen to what my husband said, was very rude, and no compassion, He tried to explain his history of health problems but the doctor didn't want to know. He was told 'DO NOT TALK' while he had his his blood pressure done, very iabruply,The doctor then told my husband she will refer him to the cancer unit, without having any other tests done apart from dipping his urine, He is very upset about this as she now has frightened the life out of him. How can a doctor say this to a patient without any tests being done and also nothing should be said to a patient to upset them, anyway, How dare they,!!! the doctor said this before the blood pressure was done and then was told "oh your blood pressure is very high" my husband is disgusted, He has since had a independent blood pressure check and it was completely normal.Do not want my husband to visit this gp again.

We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, as you did not leave any contact details we looked at the patients seen within the last few days and found you. On finding you I rang immediately and arranged to meet you to discuss your concerns. We are sorry you were upset over your visit to the surgery.

We hope after our meeting we have resolved all of your concerns and you will come and speak to us if for whatever reason you feel unsatisfied with any concerns you have.
