"Minor plastic surgery"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Outpatients Queen Margaret Hospital / Plastic Surgery & Burns

(as the patient),

I recently had a procedure done by the nurse practitioner in the plastic surgery department. This is a great service for minor surgery without the fuss of going to a ward or theatre. I wasn’t particularly nervous but every effort was made to make me feel at ease both by the nurse practitioner and the assisting nurse.  Everything was explained and I left feeling confident about what had been done and what to expect in the future. Thank you so much Deborah and Tanya you are a great little team.

One very minor suggestion would be to warm the cleaning fluid !  That’s  the only thing that made me feel mildly uncomfortable.

Thanks again.X

Dear Nanny McPhee,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Care Opinion.

Deborah and Tanya were delighted to read that you were happy with the care you received.

In relation to warming the cleaning fluid, they advise that in future they will consider this practice and where possible will warm this fluid.

Thank you and I hope you make a good recovery.

Regards Arlene
