"Disappointing"

Difficult to have faith in a service where clinicians are able to let their professional membership lapse leading to lack of continuity of care. I don’t know what shocks me more; that the membership lapsed or the fact that the clinician in question was so brazen in telling me she hadn’t kept up her payments. In the meantime my daughter saw no one.

I had high expectations of this service, assuming there would be a level of expertise in managing eating disorders. However, the clinicians appeared surprised that my daughter might not be telling the truth about the severity of her symptoms when I phoned to raise my concerns.

We sadly continue to face daily crises with evidence of binge eating, vomiting and use of laxatives. There is no indication that this service is making a difference.
