What I liked
My 86 year old husband attended A & E on 18th January 2012 and again on 20th January where it was found his sats. were low and he was immediately given oxygen. The teamwork of your staff was really impressive and every effort was made to address the problems my husband was experiencing. He was later admitted to the AAU. He had x-rays and a ct-scan and later a Bronchoscopy. We wish to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Phlebotomists and Radiologists who we encountered during our time at The Lister. Also from the receptionish who booked us in at A & E through to Triage, assessment and treatment, transfer to the AAU then finally to Ward 9A North. I was allowed onto the ward to help my husband wash and help him in general. The Drs and Nurses were understanding of the questions I asked. We were impressed with the care taken by all the staff at every level. Finally my husband enjoyed the food that he was offered. In our experience our overall impression was that the Lister is an extremely well organised and well run hospital.
What could be improved
