"Disappointed with invitation letter"

About: Leighton Hospital / Urology

I have not yet attended the Urology department but it is disconcerting to see that a recent reviewer found staff condescending - so no change there from standard medical arrogance.

I have received a letter inviting me to attend an appointment and there is nothing to tell me what the appointment is for or what the procedure will be.

Apparently the high-handed attitude has started already.

Don't you think it would be a basic courtesy to explain in your invitation why you have invited me and what procedure you are expecting to carry out, or do you just treat every patient like a lab rat that you can do anything with as you like and tell them nothing ?
