"Orthopedic surgery"

About: Chapel Allerton Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

After injuring my knee at the end of 2017 I was originally referred through the NHS to a Spire hospital, and after being discharged without surgery I was re referred to Chapel Allerton hospital. After a consultation with the doctor I was put forward for an urgent knee arthroscopy.

The surgeon was nice and kept me updated about what was happening, the healthcare staff and nurses were incredibly kind and helped calm my nerves, the anaesthesiologist was great and gave me anti sickness medicine for when I came round and the physios made sure I had everything I needed post-surgery.

I can't fault the service from anyone who dealt with my episode, it was a breeze from start to finish!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that you had such a positive experience whilst using our services at Chapel Allerton Hospital.

I have taken the liberty of passing your kind words onto the manager for Trauma and Orthopedics for information who will be delighted to know that they are delivering a level of care that met your needs and fulfilled your expectations.

With kindest regards
