"appointment system shocking!"

About: Glenfield Hospital / Allergy

after being referred to the allergy dept, my appointment was 7 months in the future.

about a month prior to this - the appointment was cancelled, not rearranged, cancelled - with the promise of being contacted in the future

i got a letter around about the date of my original appointment to call for an appointment - and if i didn't respond within 2 weeks, i would be 'dismissed'

i called - got an appointment for 3 months in the future and was told this was the only appointment that would be issued - if i didn't attend for whatever reason- tough! there wouldn't be another appointment

let's hope I'm not ill - or die from anaphylactic shock!!!
