"The birth of my grandson"

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Maternity care

(as a relative),

On Tuesday I was lucky to be at the birth of my grandson at the Clarendon wing.

I would love to say a big thank you to the midwife and student midwife who were there to deliver the baby. The midwife was Debbie and the student midwife was Zoe. They were both absolutely brilliant. They were kind, patient and very supportive of my daughter, her partner and me!

Zoe told me she is in her last year of training and I am certain she will go on to be an amazing midwife. In the excitement of the baby arriving it's not always possible to thank everyone so I am hoping you can pass on our thanks and praise to two brilliant midwives.

Thank you

Dear MS

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that you had such a positive experience whilst in our care.

I have passed your kind words to the Matrons, at Claredon Wing. It is always lovely to give such positive feedback to the specific staff members that where involved in your daughter and grandson's care,

The the staff members at Maternity Services would be delighted to know that they are delivering a level of care that met your needs and fulfilled your expectations.

With kind regards
