"Avoid a blood test here!"

Came in for my booking scan on the first floor antenatal department and had to get a blood test done. I asked the lady if she would kindly use a butterfly needle, as it has been advised to me by my GP (otherwise I bruise horribly and the area stays painful for weeks) she completely ignored me and disregarded my request. The area near my vein is bruised and has been purple for 5 days! She also had the audacity to tell me that my GP was WRONG - a doctor I have trusted for 15 years plus. Had the most awful attitude, I felt incredibly uncomfortable and was simply treated with disrespect. I did not expect this service from Chelsea and Westminister.
