"Treated awfully by the consultant, made to go..."

About: Royal Derby Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I attended the orthopaedic dept on a open appointment, as the consultant walked in it took him less than 30sec to ask me with obvious annoyance why I was there!

I explained my problem verbally and half way through was cut short and told to go to A&E, barely able to walk the consultant stood in the door, head down and didnt even tell me where to go, without a bye!.

A&E were so apologetic explaining that I would only be referred through them back to orthopaedic unable to grasp why I'd been sent there!.

9 hrs later i see orthopaedics, again, who lie telling me they would contact a further dept on my behalf.

This doesnt happen.

All in all a horrid experience with a very rude person, such a shame as the other staff that day were lovely!!
