"Absolute joke"

I went today for an appointment for contraception that I booked 3 weeks ago. When I booked I asked if I need to see doctor or nurse, was told nurse.

When I turned up at my appointment I was not on the system. They had booked someone else with the same date of birth in by mistake. They gave me the appointment anyway.

I went to see the nurse, got told that I should have gone to doctor. She told me which doctor to book.

Went back to reception to book that doctor, no appointments available at any point in the future. Have to call at 8am on the day to see if I can get in. I can't do this as I need to book time off work in advance to go see the doctor (unless I'm sick).

So I waited 3 weeks and took half a day annual leave for nothing.

I'm going to register somewhere else.
