When I was 28 weeks pregnant with my second I took a tour of the birth centre and fell in love with it so instantly decided to transfer my care over.
When I eventually went into labour I arrived at the centre and was 4cm, they told me the babies heart rate was slightly high and I’d have to go to newham. I tried to express that my pains were getting too much and I thought I was close to giving birth but no one listened to me.
They sent me away making my husband drive me to the hospital little did I know I was 10cm and ready to push, this could have been extremely dangerous for me and baby and was extremely stressful. They should have listened to me and checked me.
I had her as soon as I walked into the hospital and her heart rate was fine so it was all a dangerous waste of time.
Really disappointed wish I never even bothered referring to this birth centre.
