"Very good staff and brilliant doctors. We..."

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

What I liked

My wife entered St Georges as an emergency and immediately taken to the Neuro ICU after a large tumour was identified next to her brain. The staff and doctors kept me and my wife updated with what would be happening all the time. The staff were polite and always had a smile on their faces. All questions asked by my wife or myself were answered. We had no decisions to make in relation to my wife illness - surgery was the only choice. Surgery took 6 - 7 hours and the aftercare assisted my wife’s recovery. She left hospital after four days and appears to be a new woman.

I can't thank the doctors, surgical team and all the staff that my wife had contact with in the ICU, Brodie Ward and McKissock Ward enough. The expertise, compassion and communication from the staff especially doctors shown to me and my family during my wife’s stay was fantastic. Thank you.

What could be improved

Nothing

Anything else?

What can I say, your staff saved my wifes life. Our children aged 11 and 15 will be able to continue life with a wonderful mother and friend.
