"My late Dads care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Sending a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, the very caring nurses to the porters & cleaning staff at University Hospital Wishaw. We can’t thank all the staff enough for being so kind, dedicated and giving such exceptional care to my Dad. For just over 4 weeks the nurses in ward 14 showed only kindness, respect and great professionalism towards my Dad, who sadly passed so peacefully in November 2018. 

Our family can not thank all the staff enough and can say that your dedication was highly appreciated.

Thank you all for being so compassionate.

Hi

I am so sad to hear that your Dad has passed away. It is always a very difficult time for family and friends. I oversee the Portering and Domestic Staff you mention in your comment about Ward 14 and the care recieved by your Dad. I will make sure your comments are given to the teams and I really appreciate the time you have taken to let us know just how well they cared for your Dad and what a difference they made at a very difficult time for you all. Wishing your family well.

I am delighted to hear that the care provided to your father was exceptional and that they displayed great care,compassion and dedication whilst caring for your father. I will share your lovely words with the team and I am sure that they will be delighted to know that they made a very anxious time more bearable for you.
