"Any problem has been caught at an early stage"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Urology Lincoln County Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as the patient),

I came to discuss the results of a recent MRI scan for prostate cancer, and although this was not conclusive I have agreed to a further biopsy.

The MRI scan did indicate that further investigation is required and I am currently waiting for an appointment for a biopsy. I feel that the monitoring system that I have been under for the past 13 years has been very good and I feel that any problem has been caught at an early stage.

Dear LR88 - thank you for taking the time to post this which I have shared with the teams; I am pleased that the various monitoring services have worked well for you and I hope that your biopsy results come back negative - though, as you say, you are keeping a close eye and catching things early if not which makes a huge difference in treatment plans.

Take care and with all best wishes.

Thanks again

Jennie
