(as the patient),

I attended the Centre for Integrative Care in Glasgow for Mistletoe Therapy during November.  The care and dedication and professionalism shown by all the staff is an example of what the NHS should be.  Dr Stephen, Elaine, and Carol made me feel so relaxed and treated me as an individual with a person centred approach to my care.  This Holistic approach to health care is an example which should be shared throughout the NHS. I believe there should be more funding for this approach to health care. 

I have also received support under the care of Dr Bridie, who again has shown the dedication and care which a Holistic approach to health care gives a truly person centred approach which involves the patient in their care.

The Mindfulness classes I also attended there were really beneficial and the nurses who take the classes show a care and enthusiasm  for those they support through difficult times.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post on Care Opinion about your experience of the Centre for Integrative Care. It is lovely to read about the staff’s care, dedication and professionalism. I am glad that you felt involved in your care and this is an excellent example of a service providing person centred care.
