"Very caring staff"

About: Woodend Hospital / Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

(as the patient),

At the pre assessment clinic in ARI the nurse I was seen by was very caring. She was concerned by my blood pressure, called my GP and gave me a follow up call the next day to make sure I had heard from my GP. Excellent care.

Dear ekay,

Thank you for your positive comments following your pre-operative assessment. It is good to know that the nurse followed up on concerns regarding your blood pressure and reassured you the next day by getting in touch.

It is vital that we communicate with GPS and patients to ensure that you are fit to come in for your operation.

This is an excellent example of person centred care and I will feedback your comments to the nursing and admin team.

Thank you

Kind regards

Karen Richardson

Senior Charge Nurse
