"Truly one of the best home care providers"

I am writing this in heartfelt thanks for the care my mother in-law received from Constance Care staff but more importantly Michelle as she went above and beyond.. Mother in law has to have 24hr oxygen and on her visit Michelle had gone down the stairs to prepare her nightly oxo the oxygen machine (now noted as faulty) tripped the electric. Michelle ran in darkness to mother in law   and seeing her gasping for breath rang 999 who then authorised her to get portable cannisters to give her oxygen.

Upon doing this Michelle found they were empty as they had been used the previous week and not been refilled by immediate family member.. Knowing this Michelle followed paramedics instuctions and kept her alive with short sharp bursts of oxygen with what little was in the cannister until they arrived. As the said immediate family were out the country and Michelle was unable to contact them she took her to A&E and spent the next few hours by her side comforting her to which i phoned her mobile and spoke to her as i live in England and her other daughter in-law lives in fife who messaged granddaughter to go and relieve Michelle and be with her.

The actions of Michelle that night are to be commended and Constance Care are truly one of the best home care providers in their area as far as i can see employing top rate staff. Sadly , my mother in law was in hospital over 7 days and lost being on Constance Care books which on top of what she had been through and since losing her son has been heartbreaking for her. I just hope that new care team will show the high standard of care that Michelle, Lesley, Nicole and Constance Care showed her.
