Last week I had orthopaedic surgery in the Sandbourne Suite as a day patient.
The admissions desk staff were very welcoming-they even laughed at one of my husband's silly jokes!
The Staff Nurse who did the pre admission check was very friendly and informed me exactly what was going to happen and I was kept up to date with waiting times to the best of her ability.
I went to main theatres for my operation and again anaesthetic staff were lovely as was my Recovery nurse.I was given analgesia when required.
Once back in the Day ward I was offered food and drink and monitored carefully prior to my discharge.
Thank you everyone.
