"Care received at UCH"

About: University College Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had a late evening fall in London. Ambulance staff arrived, they were kind, professional and considerate. Moving me safely to A&E where the treatment was all one would hope for from the NHS.

I had an X-ray and was found to have a double fracture to my left ankle the treatment was considered - considerate- compassionate and appropriate.

(The ambulance crew popped back to say hi and to see I was ok when the opportunity presented itself on what was a very busy Friday night. )

I was moved to a ward with a full explanation regarding the treatment which involved an operation the next morning (plates and pins and plaster ).

The staff explained everything always used my name very nothing less than professional / lovely people well done UCH I am sad I fell and damaged my self but pleased I landed on your doorstep.

Post arrival ward staff , support staff the operating team and anaesthetics team could not be faulted.

I am sure my ongoing care will be nothing less than the above.

(PS a shame the list below only allows for one department to be selected)
