A close family member was treated, at Colchester, for a stroke and was then transferred to Clacton 'rehab' to aid her recovery. The patient is an 82 year old female recovering from a near fatal condition immediately prior to having the stroke. We travelled from Boston to visit her yesterday (Oct 10th) and was relieved to find her capable of conversation at least.
We really must advise you that both we and the patient can't sufficiently express our thanks and appreciation for all the care and attention being provided by the ward staff. The care and attention both previously and presently being given is truly outstanding.
Please extend our sincere appreciation for all that is being done for all those patients presently in 'rehab'. Also ensure that this message is passed onto all levels of hospital and NHS management..
"Rehab at Clacton-on-Sea Hospital. Outstanding!!!"
