A month ago I left a review stating how pleased I was with my treatment. Sadly, this time my eye exam was completely inadequate, pupils not dilated, not even asked to look up, down, left, right. No OCT scan done despite the nurse trying to prompt the doctor to request one. The doctor was rushed and rude. He got most of the anaesthetic drops over my face and not in my eyes, didn't offer tissues and impatiently tapped his hand on the chin rest. He then rushed the slit lamp straight at my unanaethetised eyes and when I complained he shouted me down. I have no idea if my eye is better or worse and only got a prescription for new sterile drops by standing my ground. At which point he asked which eye I needed them for. My local optician does a better eye exam than this. Thank goodness I had a family member with me for support. Do not go in to see the doctor alone.
