What I liked
I have completed this feedback on behalf of my mother who died on Bratham ward on 4th February. The care she was given was outstanding. My mother trained as a nurse in the 1940's, practiced for over 30 years and was always very proud of the profession and I know that she would have been rightly proud of the nursing and medical care she received.
My sister's were with my mother from her admission and were very pleasantly surprised at the level of communication and compassion shown by all members of staff. Their wishes were complied with and we didn't have to ask for anything twice. We stayed overnight and the most important things were tended to, she was turned regularly, made to feel comfortable and this was all despite the ward being exceedingly busy. A very difficult time for us all was dealt with brilliantly so we will have memories that are as pleasant as they can be.
"From management to the domestic staff everyone..."
