"Let down by someone who forgot to do their job"

What could be improved

I had an appoinment for an MRI scan, on arrival at the WH MRI dept i was redirected to XRay reception. There i was told they had been ringing me to tell me the scanner was broken and my appointment was cancelled. Strange that i had no missed calls! The receptionist apologised and said i was being re booked as urgent priority as i had been put to inconvienience.

6 days later i rang to check my appointment date only to be told "sorry you have not been rebooked, our mistake i will get you booked in"

I wait to see if they keep their word this time round! Dont make promises and then forget.
