"Breast cancer screening"

About: The Royal Marsden Hospital (Surrey)

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and had a lump in my breast that needed seeing to!! Firstly I couldn’t even find the where I had to go a lovely lady who worked there took me to the ward as I looked so stressed she was so helpful and lovely to do that! My whole experience from the staff at the reception, doctor nurses and sonogramer were absolutely amazing

They were so kind and understanding of how worried I must have been! The whole time they kept reassuring me and were very clear of what they will do!

My results are of a benign lump which has enlarged in my pregnancy! They made sure I didn’t leave the hospital at least knowing I had nothing to worry about! I still had a biospsy and the doctor who did that was extremely kind and so reassuring the whole time! The nurse and sonogram lady who were there too held my hand through the whole process. I’ve never meet such lovely considerate people! The nurse who stayed the whole time she was absolutely lovely! I would love to thank everyone that made today less stressful for me and being so lovely and kind!!! Amazing stuff!!!!
