"Now I know what sleep deprivation truly means"

About: Basildon University Hospital

Pasteur Ward.

8/11/2018.

Extremely loud music being played way into the night in the “staff room”. Sounded like a hip hop party.

Complained to the nurse but nothing was done.

Nurses shouting, singing, whistling along corridors in middle of night.

Bin lids being allowed to drop.

Doors being slammed shut

Unacceptable behaviour and no management/supervision. Absolutely disgusting

In the meantime, if you would like to discuss your comments further please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on pals@btuh.nhs.uk or 01268 524900 ext 4440 in order that they can investigate with the appropriate management teams.
