About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

What I liked

The idea of a trip to the emergency department on a saturday night did not fill me with joy, but my trip to the QA was a pleasant surprise. Absolute respect and thanks to the lovely staff who worked efficiently, with cheer and good humour despite the sometimes very challenging working conditions they are exposed to. A suprisingly short wait, with sensible staging of care and a sense of being an individual, not just a 'patient'.

Congratulations and thanks to the team and all involved in providing this service.

It was really pleasing to see that you had such a positive experience in our Emergency Department at such a busy time. The team work hard to ensure that people are treated as individuals and that clinical need informs the seeing and treating of patients. Your feedback is appreciated.
