What I liked

I have been discharged today from the Assessment unit after a four day stay. I was treated with dignity and respect but above all as an individual, very difficult to achieve given the constraints of a hospital environment. I don`t know why it works this way on this ward, personalities, managers or a combination of the two, but the way this ward operates should be the model to which all should aspire. Having experienced the service from the Northern general on numerous occasions,I can attest that unfortunately this is not the norm.

The time taken to get the tablets from the pharmacy upon discharge.
