"Very rude staff"

About: Caritas General Practice Partnership

I am pregnant with multiple schlerosis, I don’t attend the morning surgery much as I do not like to waste their time when I can find advice at a pharmacy. Today I had no choice but to come to the open surgery that ends at 10.30 and I am very aware of that. Having coming all the way from work, got stuck in traffic and informed the surgery at 9.42 that I may be a bit late. The pleasent person on the phone informed me that if I do get here 10 minutes late it would be fine. Anything later than this is at the doctors discretion. At 10.26 I called to say I was 10 mins away but I couldn’t run any faster as I have MS. I was then told that morning surgery had already ended and I would have to come back another day. To my knowledge there was still 3/4 minutes to get there and so was told on the phone last time I was okay to be up to 10 minutes late. I had to inform the 2nd, very rude person on the phone that I was told it was okay and that I am pregnant with ms and I can’t rush any faster. When i arrived at the surgery at 10.40 all the staff on reception were very rude and had no respect for me. I am very disapponted in the customer service skills these people lack. They have made me feel very small and that I am not cared about at my doctors surgery. As I have an incurable disease and also carrying a baby I thought they would show more respect than they did. Thank you for making my day more awful than it already was.
