"Above and beyond expectations"

This is my local surgery. They are unfailingly helpful amd pleasant but last week they really went above and beyond. I picked up my child, who has ASD, from school to find they had been suffering from earache all day but hadn't told anyone. They were crying with pain. The doctors was about to close but I stopped and asked if they could fit us in, fully expecting a no. The GP saw my son at the end of an obviously long work day, and confirmed severe earache, giving us a prescription and advice, and saving us a night-time trip to Lewisham hospital with my other children in tow. All I can say is thank you. Best team ever.
